Our Story

MANUFACTURING SINCE 2001

Julie and Ian Dale commenced manufacturing paving in the UK in 2001 and also offered paving installation and a full landscaping and design service.

In 2005 they were amongst the first companies to receive the government and consumer protection endorsed trust mark. Companies had to demonstrate commitment to high standards to give consumers confidence, trust and peace of mind.

On moving to Perth with their young children in 2008 the focus was on family time and running a business again was never part of the plan.

Ian missed landscaping and started to do some installing for family and friends which soon grew into a full time Landscaping Business with several installation teams.

When designing gardens, The Dales discovered that many products they manufactured in the Uk would work well in Perth. They started to manufacture again in a small way for their customers garden designs only.

The manufacturing side of the business continued to grow and in 2020 they ceased installation.

In 2021 the products were wholesaled to stockists in the South West. The demand from stockists continued to grow with many stockists wanting to stock the products in other areas including Perth Metro.

The sons Ben and Edwards passion for the manufacturing side of the business had continued to grow and as the next generation in the business they wanted to develop the wholesale further and purchased a rural property together with plenty of space to develop the manufacturing side of the business and increase efficiencies.

With the lease at the Armadale Retail outlet coming up for renewal and products now available in other retailers in Perth , the decision was made to close the retail shop in Armadale to concentrate on the products and distribution.

Products will continue to be available through more stockists or order to have your products delivered to your door in our online shop.

Dale Stone is a true family run business with all four members of the family involved in operations .
